Marina Barrage

Brought PoPo to see the new Marina Barrage. She likes novel stuffs so its excursion day for PoPo! :) Enjoyed the view and breeze there... AAaahhh... so relax..

Yaki Yaki Bo

Boonie, my family & myself headed to the other end of spore to check out the newly furbished & extended JurongPoint with intentions to settle dinner there as well. Jurongpoint indeed very big lor... The mall was jammed packed which explains the long search for a parking lot. We were famished after strolling at the Marina Barrage + the long journey to the west + searching for a parking lot. Settled for the restaurant with the shortest queue. Popo isn't a fan of jap cuisine as she experienced the 2nd world war but the interesting teppanyaki caught her curiosity.
The funny thing was the bibs we were each given & worn for us by the waiters. Hahaha... very cute! PoPo with a bib! Food was kinda normal.. PoPo claims she can whip up a better rendition of their dishes. So she went to buy teriyaki sauce & mirin to challenge this dish for our subsequent home dinners. PoPo indeed got standard lor.. :)

Mind Cafe

Have been planning for a gathering session for quite some time. Didn't have any idea where to go so I suggested boardgames! The package comes with free flow of drinks, salad/soup, a main course dinner meal, desserts and the obvious boardgames! Food was so-so only, tasted like microwave food except for the fried stuffs lah... Aniwaz, we're here for the games.

Nihon Mura

Casual eatery, somewhere nearby... sushi at only 99cents. Other than those mentioned, guess I won't be heading to this place again. The food was quite normal lor.... some cannot make it. The bill came up to ard $30+ lor.. not worth it manz. :p

Hong Kong Kim Gary Restaurant

Boonie and me are kinda regulars at Kim Gary. Big portions, Wide variety at Affordable price. Boonie lurves their almond tea which I dread! Whereas I like their strawberry aloe vera. So refreshing! Whahahah.... Here's what we had on 2 occasions. Once at Vivo and the other at the Tamp 1 new outlet. Cutie intro me to their mushroom rice, not bad... Should try their pork chop the next time cos the chicken cubes were kinda mediocre. The fried spaghetti is not bad tooz!

Pu Tien Restaurant

Celebrated Dad's bdae at Pu Tien. They were having this high tea promo at tamp mall. Very affordable! So we decided to give it a try. Food wasn't really great and it wasn't a fully ala carte style buffet. Guess we wouldn't be back unless someone decides to give a treat. Kekeke... Bought Dad a bdae cake, Oreo Cheesecake from Bakerzin. HeeHee... Another March Promo! :p

Bistro Senso @ the Singapore Flyer

Celebrated my colleague HC's bdae makan session at Bistro Senso @ the Singapore Flyer. We went there for their 3 course set lunch which cost only $12 or $16. Good deal right? It includes a soup/salad, main dish and a dessert! This restaurant is quite ulu... only a few tables were seated. Aniwaz, I feel that the merchants are the flyer are suffering badly from the recession and drop in the number of tourists. The air feels stale over there, or maybe its becos its a weekday :p

Mushroom Soup of the Day - not bad as it was served piping hot!

Ham and Cream Penne - normal bah, at least its al dente

Spaghetti Aglio Olio - took a bite from my colleague, quite spicy!

Salmon dish - serving was huge, definitely more worth it

Tiramisu - my only complaint was its temperature, it should be served cold lor... this was room temp
